Ethel’s Fancy is looking for a motivated and seasoned line cook to join our team. Ethel’s Fancy is a modern American restaurant in downtown Palo Alto, known for its fun, eclectic, and inventive menu of family style small plates. We are ambitious in building a unique dining experience and bringing to our guests a fine dining experience in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We love providing great hospitality through food and drink and are looking for someone who shares that passion. This individual should have some English speaking ability. He/she should have the following qualifications: Have worked at least a year in a busy kitchen environment Takes direction well and can quickly repeat a task with speed and efficiency Has a positive attitude and enjoys working in a fast paced environment Reliable Enjoys a challenge Can lift at least 40lbs Compensation will be dependent on qualifications, but is highly competitive. We will pay more for the right candidate. We may ask you to spend a paid day in our kitchen to see if it is the right fit for both us and you.
